Experienced, Versatile Receiver with Academic-Grind DNA
CJ Hayes brings veteran depth and a steady, assignment-sound game to Syracuse: in his Syracuse/Michigan State career, he has 15 catches for 159 yards, and Syracuse listed him at 6-2, 211 as a redshirt senior after 26 career games in college. He’s more “reliable Swiss Army knife” than flashy stat-sheet monster, with three-time Academic All-Big Ten honors hinting at football IQ, discipline, and coachability. If you need a polished, team-first receiver who can handle detail work and special-teams value, he’s a clean fit.
