Troy LB Carvel Jones brings tackling production and proven experience
Carvel Jones is a compact, production-minded linebacker who has already shown he can fill up a stat sheet, including 430 career tackles and 15 sacks in his Troy career, with ESPN listing three solo tackles in the available current stat snapshot. His appeal is the combination of reliability, proven run support, and steady physicality rather than flash; he also lettered in track, which hints at usable athleticism for his size. For a team looking for a sturdy, experienced linebacker who plays with effort and understands how to finish plays, Jones is a credible fit.
