High-IQ LIU Sharks Guard with Elite Rim Protection and Career-High Steals
Kaleb Marquis, the high-IQ guard for LIU Sharks, stands out not just for his 16.7 PPG and 5.1 APG in the 2025 season, but for his rare dual-threat intensity: he ranked 3rd in the OVC in blocked shots (a dominant interior defender) while also posting a career-high 4 steals in a single game. His differentiator is his relentless rim protection combined with elite ball-handling and shooting, making him a First Team All Conference (GLVC) player. With no reported injury history and a personality defined by 'RollWave' energy, Marquis is a perfect fit for teams needing a versatile, high-intensity guard who can score, defend the paint, and lead with basketball IQ.
