Alaya Grane brings instant offense and confident shot-making to Albany State
In the 2024-25 season, freshman guard Alaya Grane flashed real scoring juice for Albany State, leading the team with 19 points in the opener and later adding 10-point outings that hinted at a reliable rotation scorer. Her biggest differentiators are her quick trigger, willingness to attack, and poise for a first-year player; at 5-4, she wins with pace and touch more than size. She was also an all-region player in high school, which tracks with the feel and competitiveness she’s shown early at the college level.
