Khalil Johnson brings veteran guard savvy, but current Denver impact appears limited
Johnson is a 6-foot-3 guard with a Denver pedigree and a background that suggests steadiness and maturity, but the available roster history shows only brief, limited game action for the Pioneers in the 2020-21 season. The appeal here is less about eye-popping box-score production and more about a player who chose Denver for academics and to help build something, which hints at buy-in and team-first habits. If you need a high-usage creator, he is not the obvious fit; if you want a reliable, low-drama guard who understands role acceptance, he’s worth a look.
