Nick Vega brings pop and timely production to the Aggies’ outfield
In the 2026 season, Nick Vega has been a productive power bat for New Mexico State, hitting .250 with 5 home runs, 3 doubles, a triple, and 14 RBIs in 25 games, with 21 starts[1]. He profiles as a right-handed corner-outfield type who can change a game with one swing, and the season notes show he also delivered in big spots, including a four-RBI game at UMBC and a 2-for-3 outing with 2 RBIs against Hofstra[1]. The appeal here is straightforward: if you want a physical, power-capable OF who can add punch to the middle of a lineup, Vega is worth a hard look[1].
