efficient, calm, and NFL-caliber when rhythm and protection are there
Eleby’s calling card is clean quarterback play: in 2021, he completed 63.5% of his passes for 3,277 yards, 23 touchdowns, and only 6 interceptions, while also adding 6 rushing scores. Western Michigan’s offense with him was among the FBS’s better units, which points to a QB who can operate within structure, distribute accurately, and keep the offense on schedule[1][6]. He also earned attention for his character and leadership traits, making him more than a box-score passer[8].
