Kenitra Newman brings FIU backcourt length and a veteran guard presence
Kenitra Newman is listed on FIU’s women’s basketball roster as a 5-foot-9 guard, but current public stat leaderboards for the 2025-26 season don’t surface a detailed individual line yet, so her impact is better read through role and fit than box-score splash[1][11]. For a team, the appeal is straightforward: a guard who projects as a steady rotational piece, with enough size to help defend the perimeter and enough continuity to understand a system quickly[1].
