Experienced, left-handed QB with local roots and a steady college résumé
Woodward’s UMass profile is built more on reliability than flash: he was a four-year reserve who played in 41 games, and when he got extended reps he showed competent, low-turnover passing in limited action for the Minutemen in the late 2000s. His differentiators are experience, composure, and a strong feel for the position rather than big-time production. As a former all-state, multi-sport quarterback and left-handed passer from Massachusetts, he brings leadership and a winning background that can fit a program valuing poise, knowledge, and depth at QB.
