Troy’s Jason Wright is the lead-punter-in-waiting with holder value baked in
Jason Wright entered Troy’s 2025 camp as the leading candidate to replace Thomas Olmsted at punter, and he also brings added utility as the team’s holder on PATs and field goals.[1] That combination matters: a punter who can flip field position and stay steady in pressure-cooker special teams work is the kind of low-drama, high-trust piece coaches love on a contender.[1]
