a field-flipping punter with real leg talent
Kentrell Molette has shown reliable punting upside for Northwestern State, highlighted by a career-long 49-yard punt in the 2023 season and four punts pinned inside the opponent’s 20 in just four appearances, including two against Southeastern[2]. His 2023 numbers were modest in volume—10 punts at 35.4 yards per kick—but the touch-game flashes matter, because hidden-yardage specialists can swing field position fast[1][2]. For a team that wants a punter who can hit directional spots and help win the field-position battle, Molette is worth a look[2].
