Clutch Game-Winner and Special Teams Spark for North Dakota Fighting Hawks TE
Alex Cloyd stands out as a reliable tight end for the North Dakota Fighting Hawks, delivering a game-winning 39-yard touchdown reception with just 1:49 left to secure a thrilling 30-26 comeback victory over Cal Poly, showcasing his clutch playmaking in high-pressure moments.[1] A senior special teams ace, he's repeatedly turned games with blocks and returns, like against Northern Colorado in 2019.[2] From Millard South HS in Omaha, NE, Cloyd brings battle-tested intensity and versatility—ideal for teams needing a tough, multi-phase contributor who thrives late.[4][7] No notable injury history; pure differentiator in FCS contention.
