Veteran Purdue corner with track-record toughness and coverage experience
Fabian Martin is a proven, older-school Purdue cornerback who brought size, experience, and steady pass-coverage value to the Boilermakers during his Purdue career, including being listed as a defensive back in the 2008 season and appearing in game coverage against Central Michigan that year. His differentiators were veteran poise, physicality, and familiarity with Purdue’s defensive system rather than flashy stat-sheet production, which makes him the kind of player coaches trust in rotation or depth roles. If you want a competitive, assignment-sound DB with college experience, he fits the profile.
