Samuel Da Cruz brings size, versatility, and a developmental upside to UAPB
Samuel Da Cruz is a 6-foot-9 wing/forward for UAPB, which gives the Golden Lions a long, switchable piece with real lineup flexibility. In the 2022-23 season, he appeared in 3 games and posted 1.7 points per game on 40.0% field-goal shooting, but the bigger story is the frame and positional value rather than the box score. UAPB’s own roster bio lists him as having excellent size for the point-guard role, suggesting a skill set built around length, adaptability, and upside. If a team wants a developmental defender/playmaker with intriguing size, he’s worth a look.
