veteran Texas offensive lineman with a versatile, under-the-radar profile
Drew Russo is a senior offensive lineman for Texas in the 2026 season, listed at 6-2, 255, and brings a rare background as a former quarterback/tight end who understands the game from multiple angles[1]. He was an honorable mention all-district pick in high school and earned second-team academic all-state honors, which hints at a smart, coachable, detail-driven profile[1]. If you want a technically sound, high-football-IQ depth piece with versatility and a strong academic/character track record, Russo fits the bill; if you need a massive mauler with elite power measurables, this is probably not your guy[1].
