Jerica Williams brings veteran guard instincts and a coach’s eye to SDSU
Jerica Williams is a San Diego native who played at UCLA before transferring to San Diego State, where she was part of two Mountain West championship teams and two NCAA tournament appearances in her college career. She’s widely described as a strong shooter with high basketball IQ, plus the kind of leadership and empathy that translate into winning culture—not just box-score production. For a team, that means a guard who can elevate the room as much as the rotation. The catch: her playing career at SDSU was in 2008-10, so this is legacy context rather than current on-court performance.
