Greg Menard was the Bison’s edge-rushing wrecking ball
Greg Menard’s value came from disruption: in the 2016 season, he posted 62 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries, production that put him among NDSU’s all-time sack leaders and on the Buck Buchanan Award radar. He’s the kind of DE who changes game plans with first-step burst, active hands, and relentless motor; scouts and previews repeatedly framed him as the top pass rusher on a championship-level FCS defense. The big asterisk is durability, though—he missed 2017 with a knee injury—so the fit depends on whether a team wants a high-upside pressure specialist with proven finishing ability.
