Sidney Jones brings veteran linebacker grit to MVSU
Sidney Jones is a battle-tested Mississippi Valley State linebacker whose value shows up in the dirty work: physical tackling, steady run support, and experience that coaches can trust in the middle of the defense. Available stat data shows he posted 38 tackles in 10 games in the 2021 season, but the bigger selling point is the veteran presence and toughness he brings to the Delta Devils’ front seven. If your team needs a compact, instinctive LB who plays with edge and knows how to set the tone, he’s worth a hard look.
