Savannah State DB Banidel Afolabi: Name to Watch, But Public Game Data Is Thin
Banidel Afolabi is listed with Savannah State football, but there’s little publicly available stat-tracking or scouting detail on his current 2026 performance, so the safe read is that he’s a developmental defensive back rather than a heavily documented impact star. The biggest differentiator here is roster presence and positional fit: DBs who stick on a college roster usually bring coverage flexibility, tackling willingness, and special-teams value, even when the stat sheet stays quiet. If you want a low-drama, depth-friendly defender with upside, he’s worth a closer look.
