Dontrell Shuler gives Middle Tennessee a steady, scoring-first backcourt option
Shuler’s appeal is his reliable two-way guard production: in the 2024-25 season, he averaged 12.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 32 assists, with ESPN listing him at 12.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game[1][2][4]. He’s a 6-2 junior guard who can be trusted to create offense without dominating the ball, which makes him useful in lineups that need a composed perimeter scorer rather than a high-usage star[1][4].
