UCF’s home-run RB with rare burst and proven big-play juice
In the 2020 season, Greg McCrae rushed for 758 yards and 10 touchdowns on 149 carries, averaging 5.1 yards per carry; across his UCF career, he finished with 2,620 rushing yards, 29 rushing touchdowns, and a school-record 6.45 yards per carry. That profile screams explosive, efficient, and hard to game-plan for—he’s the kind of back who can flip a drive in one snap and punish defenses that lose contain. His calling card is acceleration and big-play ability, though his smaller-volume workload hints he’s best when used in space and kept fresh.
