Cheikh Faye Brings Frontcourt Versatility and Upside to Charleston Southern
Cheikh Faye is the kind of forward worth watching because his value is likely to come from impact plays, athleticism, and role flexibility more than raw box-score volume. Publicly available sources are thin on detailed current college stat tracking for Charleston Southern, so the safest read is that he profiles as a developmental piece whose fit depends on whether a staff wants length, energy, and upside in the frontcourt. If he can defend multiple spots, rebound with effort, and finish efficiently, he becomes a useful glue guy; if you need a polished, high-usage scorer right now, he may not be the cleanest fit.
