the dependable, captain-level linebacker Portland State leans on
In the 2023 season, Isaiah Henry gave Portland State a steady, high-reliability presence at linebacker, appearing in 44 career games and doubling as a key special teams contributor. He’s more than a stat line: the Vikings called him a team captain and “frequent spokesperson,” and he was a four-time Academic All-Big Sky honoree, which says a lot about his leadership and football IQ. At 6-foot, 205 pounds, he projects as a tough, assignment-sound fit for a team that values intelligence, consistency, and a tone-setter on defense.
