Senior DB with veteran depth and Gophers pedigree
In the 2026 season, Jeremy Baltazar is listed by Minnesota as a senior defensive back, giving the Gophers an experienced, steady presence in the secondary.[1] His value is less about flashy stat lines and more about veteran reliability, positional flexibility, and knowing how to survive Big Ten football’s weekly collision course. If a team wants a tough, seasoned DB who can help stabilize coverage and bring mature locker-room energy, Baltazar fits the bill.
