Proven CCSU workhorse with big-play pedigree
James Mallory is a **dynamic, proven runner** who brings legitimate game-breaking production and veteran polish to Central Connecticut State, with ESPN listing him at **1,893 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on 352 carries**.[6] He’s the kind of back who matters because he has already shown he can carry an offense and has been described as one of the most decorated players in program history, with strong recognition as a Walter Payton Award finalist.[1][3][6] For a team, that signals a back with **high-end productivity, leadership, and next-level credibility** rather than just empty stats.[1][3]
