Steve Hailey brings steady point-guard control and timely shot-making to Boston College
Hailey is a true lead guard whose best value showed up in 2003-04: 4.5 points, 2.8 assists, 1.4 rebounds, and team-leading or tying assist honors 12 times, plus six games with at least five assists.[2] He also flashed composure under pressure, scoring 15 of his 18 career-high points in the final 6:37 against Villanova, and he was reliable enough to shoot 73.8% from the foul line.[2] The profile says “organizer first, scorer second,” which makes him a fit for teams needing structure, pace control, and unselfish guard play rather than a high-volume creator.[2][3]
