Freshman lefty Mark Rogers is emerging as a steady innings-eater for Canisius
In the 2026 season, Mark Rogers has flashed real value for Canisius as a freshman left-hander: he owns a 3-2 record with a 6.46 ERA over 30.2 innings, earned MAAC Rookie of the Week after a 6.0-inning, one-run, six-strikeout outing, and has already shown he can deliver shutout relief and multi-inning work. His best selling points are mound poise, strike-throwing in bulk outings, and enough competitiveness to bounce back after rough starts; the Canadian junior national team background adds some upside. If your team wants a young arm with starter traits and growth room, he’s worth a look.
