Massive, battle-tested left tackle with NFL traits
In the 2016 season, David Sharpe started all 13 games at left tackle for Florida and was one of only two Gators to start every game, which says a lot about his durability and trustworthiness. He entered college as a highly rated tackle prospect, and scouting reports praised his size, power, and surprisingly quick feet for a 6-foot-6, 357-pound lineman, while noting he could get stiff and needed cleaner technique. If you want a mauler with real length and starting experience, he fits; if you need a super-compact, lateral-space technician, that’s not his game.
