Furman’s developmental RB with special-teams upside
In the 2025 season, Jalil Garvin-Mingo remained more of a developmental back than a volume producer, with Furman listing him as a redshirt freshman who is “getting better” and expected to help on special teams; his appeal is the combo of multi-position high school experience, compact 5-foot-7/185-pound build, and program-internal praise for his work in scout-team roles. He has not yet posted meaningful college production, so the big question is whether his burst, toughness, and versatility translate into game-day touches.
