Lashay Banks brings efficient two-way backcourt grit to Rider
Lashay Banks is a steady guard for Rider whose game pops through efficiency, hustle, and versatility: in the 2024 season she appeared in all 32 games with 19 starts, shot .365 from the field, averaged 3.7 rebounds, and recorded 34 steals while ranking among the team leaders in minutes and made field goals. She’s the kind of player coaches like because she competes, defends, and does the little things that win possessions—useful if you want toughness, guard pressure, and someone who won’t need the ball to matter.
