Kawika Borden brings veteran Hawaii secondary juice with safety versatility
Kawika Borden is a veteran defensive back for Hawaii whose profile points to experience, positional flexibility, and a steady presence in the secondary rather than flashy box-score production. He has been listed as a safety in Hawaii materials, and earlier coverage shows he earned his way onto the program as a walk-on, which usually signals toughness, buy-in, and a grinder’s mindset. For a team, he reads as a reliable depth piece or system fit if you want football IQ, special-teams value, and a player who embraces the dirty work.
