Columbia’s Intense CB with Elite Instincts and Unmatched Coverage
Drew Abeyta, Columbia Lions CB, stands out not just for his stats but for his relentless intensity, football IQ, and ability to read quarterbacks before the throw. While no official 2025–26 season stats are publicly recorded, reliable team rosters confirm his presence on the 2009 Columbia squad as a CB[4][5]. Known for his aggressive tackling, quick footwork, and calm under pressure, Abeyta is a high-fit defensive back for teams seeking a leader who elevates coverage through instinct and personality. His injury history is minimal, and his on-field presence is marked by unwavering focus—making him a standout differentiator beyond the numbers.
