Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Guard with Bench Intensity for Holy Cross
Mike Piwko, a 6-4 sophomore guard for the Holy Cross Crusaders, stands out not just for his 1.4 points per game in the 2022-2023 season, but for his elite academic discipline (Patriot League Academic Honor Roll) and high-intensity bench presence. Appearing in eight games off the bench, he scored four points against Navy, showcasing reliability in limited roles. His differentiators include a mature personality balancing athletics and academics, zero injury history, and an intensity level that elevates team culture even without star stats. While not a statistical leader, Piwko is a perfect fit for teams valuing discipline, resilience, and off-court leadership—making him a low-risk, high-character asset who thrives in structured environments.
