Jewel May brings steady frontcourt value for South Carolina
Jewel May is a reliable South Carolina forward whose current impact shows up in efficient, low-drama production: 3.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 39.2% shooting in the season cited by ESPN. She fits as a role player who can rebound, defend, and stay within the system rather than demanding touches, which makes her useful for balance and lineup stability. The standout differentiator is her toughness and willingness to do the dirty work—traits that matter even when the box score is modest.
