Emerson Brooks brings veteran DB instincts and proven playmaking to Samford
Emerson Brooks is a physical, assignment-sound defensive back for Samford who arrived with a strong reputation for production and leadership, including over 100 tackles, five interceptions, and 12 pass breakups during his prep career, plus a 3.9 GPA and national honor society recognition. That combo hints at a smart, disciplined player who can process quickly, compete on the ball, and help stabilize a secondary. If you want a DB with coachable traits, toughness, and a high football-IQ profile, Brooks looks like a strong fit.
