Longwood Lancers' Enduring Guard Leader from the Mid-2000s Era
Rachelle Stewart, a four-year letterwinner and team captain for the Longwood Lancers women's basketball team during the 2007-08 season, earned a full scholarship in her senior year after proving her value as a dedicated guard; awarded Best Team Player in 2002 and 2003, she brought leadership, versatility across multiple varsity letters, and captain-level intensity that made her a glue-guy essential for team success—ideal for programs seeking reliable, high-character players who elevate teammates without needing star billing.
