Barry Baker brings proven North Babylon production, but Syracuse impact was limited
Barry Baker’s pre-college profile was strong: he helped North Babylon win three Long Island championships and a league title, with the team going 39-2 during his four-year career, but his Syracuse football résumé shows only a small role at tailback, with nine carries for 30 yards in one season. That makes him more of a *track-record* evaluation than a stat-line one: he arrived with winning pedigree and workhorse experience, but there is little published evidence of sustained college production, injury context, or major standout traits at Syracuse.
