Lanay Montgomery’s game is built on rim protection and winning plays
Lanay Montgomery was a defensive anchor at West Virginia, finishing her college career with 330 blocks, 937 rebounds and a school-record 59.6% shooting mark in the 2017 season era. She was a two-time Big 12 All-Defensive Team honoree and helped power WVU’s 2017 Big 12 Tournament title run, which tells you she brings real impact beyond box score fluff. The big sell: elite shot-blocking, strong rebounding, efficient finishing, and a reputation as a tough, high-IQ center who raises a team’s defensive floor.
