USC's Speedy CB Depth Piece with Untapped HS Pedigree
Dorian Hewett, USC Trojans cornerback, has tallied 12 tackles and 1 pass deflection across 14 career games (1 start) through 2021, serving as a reliable rotational defender without standout production. His differentiator shines in elite high school speed—10.51 seconds in the 100m from North Shore HS—translating to twitchy coverage and track-honed explosiveness that screams special teams ace or nickel upside. Low injury history, gritty intensity from Hudl highlights, and sociology major smarts make him a low-risk, high-athleticism fit for teams needing versatile DB depth in the transfer portal era.
