Columbia’s record-setting guard and dual-threat engine
Carolyn Binder is a high-IQ **guard** who arrived at Columbia with elite high school credentials and immediately stood out as a polished scorer and passer; Columbia lists her as the program’s all-time leader in both **points (2,034)** and **assists (736)**, underscoring how much she impacts winning beyond raw scoring[4]. Her game profile is built on efficient shot-making, creation for others, and competitive toughness, with prior Ivy recognition as a freshman signaling she could contribute quickly at the college level[2][4]. If your team wants a proven organizer who can score, facilitate, and elevate the offense, she’s the kind of fit that checks multiple boxes[2][4].
