Navy's Sparkplug Captain Kevin Alter: Gritty Shooter & Leader from 2014-15
Kevin Alter, Navy Midshipmen's senior guard and team captain in 2014-15, averaged 2.4 PPG, 0.6 RPG, and 0.4 APG with a 33.5% FG rate (ESPN stats), but exploded off the bench as a sophomore with 4.0 PPG including a 18-point, 6-three outburst vs. Norfolk State and 81% FT shooting. A high school star (16.7 PPG, 6.9 APG), his relentless intensity, leadership—key in wins like vs. Army—and Patriot League morale-booster make him a differentiator; ideal for teams needing tough, versatile bench energy despite modest college numbers.
