Yusef Yakubu is a high-efficiency, energy-first forward for Prairie View A&M
In the 2024-25 season, Yusef Yakubu averaged 1.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game for Prairie View A&M, but his calling card is efficiency and interior presence: ESPN lists him at a sharp 64.3% shooting from the field. He’s a frontcourt piece who can finish cleanly around the rim, crash the glass, and provide hustle minutes rather than high-usage scoring. Earlier at Erie Community College, he reportedly posted 9.5 points and 9.2 rebounds with six blocks, suggesting a rebounding-and-rim-protection profile that can help a team needing toughness and low-maintenance production.
