Wake Forest’s Luke Billings brings legit right-arm upside from the Jersey pipeline
Billings is a 6-foot-3 sophomore RHP at Wake Forest with a strong prep pedigree, including a No. 19 New Jersey ranking from Perfect Game and a high-school résumé built on strikeout production and low ERAs. In 2025, he saw limited action as a freshman, allowing 3 earned runs in 2.0 innings with 4 strikeouts, so the stat line is tiny but the arm talent is real. The why-care here is upside: he projects as a hard-throwing, competitive strike-thrower who fits Wake’s development machine if you’re betting on growth over immediate volume.
