seasoned Savannah State guard with length and steady role-player value
Marcus Hutchins is a 6-foot-4 guard from Savannah State whose profile points to a versatile, experienced backcourt piece rather than a headline-grabbing scorer. Available stat pages show modest production in his college career, with career averages around 1.5 points, 0.5 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game, so the appeal is more about size, defensive utility, and lineup flexibility than box-score fireworks. If a team wants a low-maintenance guard who can plug gaps, handle responsibility, and bring veteran presence, he fits that mold.
