George Hansen brings size, strikeout flashes, and midweek value for Oakland
In the 2026 season, Oakland left-hander George Hansen has worked as both a starter and a high-leverage arm, showing the kind of 6'4" frame and left-left look that coaches love to develop. He has had some rough outings against top competition, but he’s also shown swing-and-miss upside, including a 3.2-inning relief outing with five strikeouts and multiple starts that kept him in the mix. If you want a projectable lefty who can give you innings and upside, Hansen’s the kind of arm worth watching.
