Proven Purdue perimeter threat with veteran game
A former Purdue guard/forward, Byrd was a reliable multi-year contributor known for his shooting, finishing with 890 career points and 195 three-pointers across 130 games for the Boilermakers; his value comes from floor spacing, experience, and a steady all-around role rather than flashy volume. He’s the kind of player who fits teams needing a disciplined wing who can stretch defenses, understand Painter-style structure, and bring mature, low-drama production.
