Nicholls freshman DL Keidrick Richardson Jr. brings proven Louisiana production and upside
Richardson is a redshirt freshman defensive lineman at Nicholls who arrived with a strong prep résumé: a three-time Class 4A All-State pick, four-time All-Metro and All-District selection, MaxPreps Freshman and Sophomore of the Year, and De La Salle’s career tackles leader. Nicholls lists him at 5-foot-11, 230 pounds, and he spent 2024 on the practice squad and received a redshirt, so his college impact is still developing rather than already on the stat sheet. He looks like a high-motor, under-the-radar fit for a program willing to bet on toughness, instincts, and upside over raw size.
