Undrafted Canadian Guard Bringing 6-4 Versatility to FIU
Cordell Viera (note: spelled Viera in your query, Viera/Viera in records) is a 6-4, 190-lb Canadian guard for FIU Panthers who entered the 2021 NBA Draft as an undrafted free agent and now operates as an unrestricted free agent with professional experience. His differentiator is his Canadian-developed ball-handling and defensive intensity at the guard position, combining a 193cm frame with the agility to pressure perimeter shooters. While specific 2025-26 FIU stats aren't publicly aggregated in major databases yet, his profile highlights a high-intensity, team-first personality suited for squads needing a versatile two-way guard who can initiate offense and close out on shooters. If your team values grit, international guard experience, and a player who thrives in transition, Viera is a strong fit—especially for roles requiring defensive versatility and secondary ball-handling without the luxury of a pure scorer.
