Jamel Dobbs brings Navy a stout, assignment-sound edge setter with flashes of disruption
In his available career data, Jamel Dobbs has logged 18 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and 10 solo stops, reflecting a classic Navy-style DE who plays with discipline, leverage, and physicality rather than empty hype. Navy listed him at 6'5" and 255 pounds, and his profile notes strong academics as well, which usually tracks with a smart, coachable player who should fit a structured defense. The best reason to care? He looks like a reliable edge piece more than a splashy stat collector — exactly the kind of tough, no-nonsense defender who can help a team stay sound against the run and keep the defensive front honest.
