Edward Blair brings size, experience, and downhill LB potential to Hampton
Edward Blair is a **6-foot, 217-pound senior linebacker** at Hampton with a transfer background from West Virginia State, giving him the kind of mature, physically developed profile that can translate quickly in a defensive room.[2] His value is less about flashy box-score production and more about **role fit**: a sturdy, experienced defender who should help versus the run, handle contact, and add depth to a linebacker unit. His high-school résumé also shows a versatile athlete with league honors and track speed, which hints at movement skills beyond a typical thumper.[2]
